WHO WE ARE
The Economics and Business Student Association (EBSA) is the largest undergraduate professional business organization at the University of California, Davis. Founded in 2012, our mission is to empower students to pursue careers in business, economics, and other related fields.
We welcome students of all majors and backgrounds who are interested in exploring the world of business. Through a wide range of events including networking nights, professional development workshops, guest speaker events, and our quarterly case competition, we provide opportunities for members to expand their networks, build valuable skills, and gain insight into real-world industries.

Every quarter, we focus on a specific topic in the business realm and curate a unique and fun prompt for teams to compete upon. Even with no prior experience, members are provided with resources and mentorship to help them succeed and judges are often seasoned professionals from the industry

Our program development directors plan and host social events that are key to our community development. These socials are generally free for all members and are meant to create lasting memories with the members of the club.

Our Fundraising committee works towards creating fun and engaging events that are pay to enter. Generally from these events, by paying you will have a tangible item such as a ice cream sundae or a fun prize.
All proceeds that come from these events go back to general members through catering for big events or to provide for our free social events.

Our weekly General Meetings serve as the foundation of our club's community, bringing members together weekly to catch up and to stay informed on the various happenings of the club. These gatherings feature three key components: club announcements highlighting various internal and external opportunities and, educational workshops that provide insights into case competition’s weekly deliverable or career development, lastly but most important team-building activities designed to break the ice with your team or other general members of the club.

Over 15 years on campus, our club has built one of the strongest alumni network at the university. Below are some of the industry leaders where our alumni have found jobs, demonstrating the career success of our members.
Besides our general events, we plan and host quarterly events throughout the academic year, such as our Alumni Night and Fall Formal, designed to develop professional skills and build lasting connections among members. These events with creating opportunities to create valuable networking opportunities and help prepare students for successful careers after graduation.
