Hi Aggies! We’re EBSA, the largest undergraduate professional business club at UC Davis. Since our founding in 2012, we’ve aimed to help students gain exposure to various business disciplines, grow their network, and acquire relevant and lasting skills. We hold weekly workshops, professional guests speaker events, and a team case competition, all providing you with an impressive number of experiences and skills to add to your repertoire.

“EBSA’s impact on the Davis community continues even after students graduate. The members and officers I met through EBSA have become lifelong friends. Even today, we continue to navigate the professional world together and leverage the network we built during our time at UC Davis.”

~ Karen Haas (President, 2014)

A message from our former President and Vice President…

Chloe Awaya
Former President

Upon joining EBSA as a first year in Winter 2020, I was immediately inspired by the seemingly effortless demonstrations of passion, professionalism, and strong work ethics in the past board members and experienced members of the organization. I had also joined several other professional clubs on campus and could not find another organization whose values inspired me as greatly as EBSA did. The club’s overall sense of determination and support since then has guided me through significant challenges and both personal growth and professional development.

I would love to continue to give back to this organization through any means possible, and hope to provide others with the same inspiration and guidance my peers in EBSA have given to me. I am constantly working towards this goal as president, and plan to continue learning from my leadership experience with the organization. I believe this organization will challenge members in the greatest, most rewarding ways possible if they are willing to commit to both personal and professional growth with our community. If you are interested in pursuing a career in business or improving your professional skills, apply! I strongly encourage you to attend our recruitment events and network with our current members before submitting an application.

Allyson Wu
Former Vice President

Ever since I joined EBSA as a dazed and confused sophomore, it’s been the “place” that I call home. Throughout my life, I’ve always felt out-of-place in my social groups. I was one of those floater kids who never stuck to one friend group, and hopped around in hopes of finding the one that clicked. It was exhausting, and for a long time I never belonged to any community. However, something I immediately noticed about EBSA upon joining was that I was never forced to fit in. I felt welcomed, heard, and inspired from the moment I stepped into the very first general meeting until the minute I left. That is why I am so passionate to fulfill this role. Not only has EBSA provided me with so much career clarity and opportunities, but it's provided me with a home away from home. I feel honored everyday that I have the ability to pay forward the same sentiment to our future general members and board members.

There are no limits to what you can gain from EBSA. Even now, I hope to develop more confidence in myself as a leader, and I've realized that the more obstacles I face head on, the more confident and resilient I become. I hope that all of our prospective members feel empowered to chase their ambitions and discover their passions in EBSA. Please do not hesitate to reach out to either myself or Chloe if you have any questions regarding your application!
